Amy DePoint L.Ac.’s life mission is to challenge and guide others to live the life they want through practical lifestyle and nutrition choices as well as having a healthy mindset. She has been mentored and taught from professors and professionals in the healing arts from around the world. In 2014, after 10 years of owning and operating Heal Oriental Medicine, a women’s health and fertility clinic in Minneapolis and St. Paul, she went on a sabbatical to California. She invested her time in learning from other ancient healing cultures that she had long respected as well as from experts in a wide variety of specialties, all of whom push the envelope in their field and ask the hard questions about how the body works and how to optimize health. In spring of 2017, after 2 years of studying and also having baby number two, the family of four moved back to Minnesota! A couple years in Rochester, Minnesota we headed out again and returned to the Twin Cities metro area. Amy has recently (2023) expanded and is now working out of a beautiful space in St. Paul, where is is excited to expand services, classes and offerings for all.

Besides immersing herself, her family and patients on this quest for a happy and healthy life, she enjoys spending time foraging and exploring the vast world with her 2 children, and is inspired by nature and the immense treasures it has for us. She just launched her first online course, ‘Sick Happens: The Plan’ that uses what we have in the kitchen to create viral busting, immune supporting remedies!

In 2005, Amy graduated with a masters in Oriental Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University, became a licensed acupuncturist by the Minnesota Medical Board, and became board certified with the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). In 2014 they left for California. In 2015 she became a practitioner of the Arvigo Technique of Mayan Abdominal Therapy (ATMAT)® and a level II, certified Reiki practitioner. Working these healing techniques into her existing women's health practice has given Amy access to a deep well of healing wisdom, allowing her to provide nuanced care for each individual that comes into her clinic. In 2016 Amy sold her Minnesota practice before welcoming their new son into their family. In 2017, Amy opened up Amy DePoint Wellness. She relocated it to St. Paul after 2 years with ‘partners (in)fertility’ in North Minneapolis. She is still doing fertility and illness consults and medical intuition readings for people around the world.
